Since I already have health insurance, how do I get the additional insurance fee waived?

Registration fees at UCI include a mandatory health insurance fee that is assessed to every student.  Undergraduate students are assessed $166.00 per quarter for the USHIP (Undergraduate Student Health Insurance Program) fee. If you have personal health insurance coverage that is equal to, or exceeds coverage provided by UCI, you may apply for a health insurance premium waiver.
