Yes! There many scholarships available to transfer students in all disciplines. If you are a re-entry student there are special scholarships available, such as the Town and Gown Scholarship.
Transfer students often think that they will not qualify for scholarships due to their experience with community college scholarships that are based primarily on extreme financial need. In contrast, many prestigious merit-based scholarships are available to transfer students at UCI.
It behooves you to be proactive in researching your scholarship options because of application deadlines and academic qualifications that often require planning early in your junior year. You can visit the Scholarship Opportunities web site for more information or talk to your financial aid counselor. Financial Aid also has a Scholarships web site that is quite helpful.
