Transfer Student Resources:
Re-Entry Students

Special Message from the TSCP

Career Center

It is very important that transfer re-entry students become familiar with the services offered by the Career Center. Making the most of your limited time at UC Irvine is essential for success beyond graduation. If your goal is to go to graduate school, make an appointment with a career counselor as soon as possible so you can make sure you are prepared for the programs you are interested in. If you would like to start your career right after graduation, you will want to explore internships and other job opportunities available for your degree and/or field of interest. UC Irvine's career counselors are sensitive and responsive to the unique needs of re-entry students and ready to help you plan your future.

Tau Sigma National Honor Society for Transfer Students

UC Irvine has recently established a Tau Sigma chapter. To qualify for membership, transfer students must earn a 3.5 or greater GPA their first quarter at UC Irvine. Contact the club for more information at tausigma@uci.edu.

Coalition of Single Mothers Obtaining an Education (COSMOE)

The founders decided to emphasize single mothers in the name of the organization because it is a huge and growing culture that needs attention. It was also the group culture that demanded a support group and network organization. Contact Athena Bondoc for more information about club meetings.
