Transfer Student Resources:
What's New for Transfer Students?

Transfer Student Message Board
(The board is not working right now, it will be up soon)

This is an incredibly valuable tool for transfer students. Transfers are very busy and many live off-campus so it is often difficult to get them to come to meetings. This does not mean that transfer students don't want to connect with each other, but it is usually interpreted that way, unfortunately. By using the message board, you can share information, vent frustration, ask for or give advice, and connect with other transfer students that you might never have met otherwise. There are sections for all types of transfers (e.g. re-entry, those who live in AV, off-campus transfers, student parents) so you finally have the chance to meet people that will understand exactly where you are coming from. This type of support is highly powerful so please take advantage of it.

Transfer Student Association

Transfer students finally have a support group just for them. The web site now has a message board so that transfer students can connect with each other without having to go to meetings (which is a real issue for re-entry students). If you are interested in joining the TSA, contact the club president, Isaac Alatorre, or Shelly Brown, the club advisor.
